lAM cHUN SING SIFU'S 2004 EUROPEAN SEMINARS
During the month of May 2004, Lam Chun Sing sifu spent over 3 weeks in Europe to teach and spread his family style in Czech Republic and Slovakia. Besides series of extensive seminars in different aspects of the style, Lam Chun Sing sifu taught many private lessons and conducted workshops.
Lam sifu's first stop was Prague, Czech Republic. The seminars and workshops in Prague were organized by Pavel Macek of the
Czech Hung Ga Gung Fu Association. Here in Prague, Lam Chun Sing sifu gave seminars on number of different hand, weapon and two men sparring forms of Hung Gar, including; Gung Gee Fook Fu Kuen, Lau Gar Kuen, Seung Tau Gwan, Fu Hok Deui Chaak, Gung Gee deui Chaak and Daan Do Deui Cheung to name a few. Students were thrilled to be learning directly from Lam Chun Sing sifu himself. Besides corrections and teaching these sets thoroughly, section by section, Lam sifu also concentrated on explaining, demonstrating and teaching the proper usage of each technique in great detail to ensure the students had a firm understanding of what they were learning. Lam sifu also encouraged all the students to ask questions and gave personal advice as well as individual instructions on how each student can improve and advance their skills in Hung Gar gung fu. The seminars were most definitely a great learning experience and an eye opening event for all the students.
From Prague, Lam sifu traveled to Slovakia, where he was invited to teach Hung Gar in more seminars and private lessons. The seminars and private lessons in Slovakia were organized by
